Bury Young Farmers

Our Chairman is Sam Ainscow, Sam is a very active member competing in all club activities including tug of war, quiz team and flower arranging, Sam also a committee member at regional and national level.  

Our Vice Chairman is Chris Kenyon, he is a local dairy farmer who is regularly involved with club competitions including stock judging and carcase judging. Chris is also a member of our tug of war team, pulling bury to many victories, currently Chris is constructing a training tower for the tug of war team on his farm.

Our Secretary is Nick Dobbin, Nick has been involved in many of the clubs activities including carcase judging, quiz team, debating and cooking competitions. Nick works closely with the chairman to ensure the smooth running of the club and increasing the number of members.

Our Programme Secretary is Alice Edmondson, Alice plays a vital role in the running of the club, she creates our programme to ensure we always have something interesting each week to do, Alice also ensures Bury is registered in all competitions and we have practices and training before.  If any club members have a certain activity they want to do Alice will do what she can to make it happen.

Our Club treasurer is Daniel Barom, Danny oversees all the clubs finances and deals with new members wanting to register.  Danny is a very active member and will go out his way to help members, if you need help with your memberships Danny is the man to speak to.
